Job Summary: 

As the General Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring best-in-class hospitality while promoting a positive work environment and prioritizing developing your team to reach their highest potential. You will also be responsible for growing sales, maximizing profitability, maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, sanitation, and managing inventory and supplies. Key Responsibilities

▪ Manage the hiring, training, supervision, and retention of the restaurant team.

▪ Oversee the restaurant’s day-to-day operations, including local marketing, sales building, scheduling, budgeting, and financial management.

▪ Operate, oversee, and supervise front- and back-of-the-house people, systems, and processes.

▪ Develop and maintain positive relationships with local community groups and organizations and engage them to build brand loyalty.

▪ Ensure restaurant operations meet or exceed company standards. 

▪ Partner with other leaders to anticipate and deliver outstanding operational performance.

▪ Enthusiastically lead the restaurant team and celebrate successes while holding the team accountable for performance results.

▪ Prioritize key guest experience metrics to create, maintain, and exceed guest expectations, leading to sustained restaurant operational success.

▪ Ensure that health and safety standards are met and adhered to. 

 

▪ Respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner. 

▪ Manage payroll, employee benefits, and other related human resources activities. 

▪ Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

 

Skills & Experience Needed for Success

▪ 5+ years of work experience with proven success as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role

▪ New restaurant opening experience preferred

▪ Solid knowledge of restaurant management best practices

▪ Hands-on, coaching, and people-first mentality

▪ Passion for food and kitchen operations

▪ Excellent change management skills

▪ Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently

▪ Leadership and organizational skills

▪ Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets

▪ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

▪ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
